Brewing another circuit for Endless Fun, Cagayan!

The Cagayan Tourism Office, Department of Tourism – Region II, and Local Government Units of Tuao, Rizal, and Piat held a meeting on February 7, 2023 at the Department of Tourism – Region 2 Office to jumpstart the TRIP Circuit.
It was attended by Dir. Troy Alexander G Miano, Regional Director of Department of Tourism – Region 2, Mr. Romeo Caranguian and Ms. Leila Blancaflor of DOT – R2, Head of Cagayan Tourism Office, En.P. Jenifer-Junio Baquiran, Ms. Shayne Beltran, and Mr. Joshua Flores of CTO; Mr. John Frey Bauag of LGU – Rizal; Ms. Cheenee Nadal of LGU – Tuao, and Ms. Elma Loreto of LGU – Piat.
The name TRIP Circuit does not only literally describe the journey one takes but is actually an abbreviation which stands for the municipalities of Tuao, Rizal, and Piat where the destinations included in the itinerary are located.
Branded as the “Bastion of Faith” tour, the itinerary comprises of varied heritage attractions and tourism activities highlighting the renowned churches of Southern Cagayan – the Holy Guardian Angel Parish of Tuao, the San Raymundo de Penafort of Rizal which is a declared National Cultural Treasure, and the Our Lady Of Piat, the Pilgrimage Mecca of the North.
