Where is Cagayan Province?

Cagayan Province is located in Northeastern Luzon.

Is Cagayan Province the same with Cagayan Valley? 

No. Cagayan Province is located up north whilst Cagayan De Oro is located down south in Mindanao.

How do you get to Cagayan Province?

By land and coming from Greater Manila Area, you may take public transportations such as Victory Liner, Florida Bus and Partas. Private vehicles may travel via the Pan-Philippine Highway (AH26). It usually takes between 10 to 12 hours to get to the capital, Tuguegarao City.

By land and coming from Ilocos Province, you may take Florida and GMW bus from Laoag City terminal. Private vehicles may travel via the Pan-Philippine Highway (AH26). It usually takes less than 6 hours to get to Tuguegarao City.

By land and from Baguio, you may take Dalin bus. Private vehicles may travel via the Pan-Philippine Highway (AH26). It usually takes 10 hours to get to Tuguegarao City.

By air, Cebu Pacific flies daily from Manila to Tuguegarao City.

There are tricycles waiting from each terminal mentioned above to take you to your destination (or if passing through via public commute, can take you to your next transport terminal).

What languages do they speak in Cagayan Province?

Cagayanos speak English, Filipino, Ybanag, Ilocano, Itawes, Gaddang and Malaueg.

Is it always 40 degrees Celsius in Cagayan Province?

Not always though it can get really dry and humid from end March through June. It is wet season from July through October; it gets cold from November to February and the temperature sometimes drops to 17 degrees Celsius.

For tricycle, P20 is the standard rate. A tricycle can accommodate 4 passengers. We pay P60 for ‘capacity’ meaning you get to enjoy the ride all by yourself (with the driver, of course!).
