The Provincial Government of Cagayan through the Cagayan Tourism Office led by En.P. Jenifer Junio-Baquiran congratulates the Local Government Unit of Santa Ana for the successful launch of their 8th Viray Festival with the theme “Ti Agtitimpuyog a Puli, Tulbek iti Irarang-ay ti Ili”.
 
The first day of the festivity, started off with the Viray Fluvial Parade, a fleet of elaborately adorned Viray and bancas which set sailed from Casambalangan and San Vicente followed by its opening ceremony, ceremonial mass, unveiling of Viray logo, and ribbon cutting at the open court.
 
The agri-booth and Viray Miniature Village which was participated by every barangay can be seen at the LGU Park. Other activities such as Mural Painting Contest, Palaro ng Bayan, and Miss Viray 2023 Pre-pageant were also completed on the first day.
 
They started the second day with the first-ever Viray Belt Fishing Tournament participated by fourteen teams from the different agencies and organizations in the municipality.

Over-All Champion:

Longest Beltfish: (40.5 inches)
 
Mr. Proceso Ricardo of Santa Ana Landbank
Heaviest Single Beltfish: (0.65 kg)
 
Mr. Sherwin Lorenzo of IKONA Inc.
 
Another activity showcased was the Viray Aquathlon, a multisport race consisting of swim and run events. Competitors of the Junior Girls and Junior Boys completed the 500-meter swim followed by a 1,000-meter run, whereas, for the Young & Adult category, the total race distance was both 1,000 meters for swimming and running. Medal and cash prizes were given to the winners and everyone who joined also got a certificate of participation.

Other activities during the second day included a sand sculpting contest and the Banchetto Night.
 
The said festival ended with the Search for Miss Viray 2023.
