Tuao TECO-MECO Village Turnover Ceremony

Turnover ceremonies of the Tuao TECO- MECO Village were personally attended by the Ambassador of Taiwan, representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office Charles Minn-gan Chow and party, Secretary Bebot Bello III, chairperson of the Manila Economic and Cultural Office, Governor Manuel Mamba, Mayor William Mamba, Vice Mayor Kiko Mamba, Department Heads, Consultants, other officials, and the community of Tuao.

 

The village is a relocation site for families whose houses were blown down during a strong typhoon in Cagayan. The families are given temporary shelter complete with utilities and will be given skills training and other assistance by the Local Government Unit of Tuao until they become self-reliant and have their own homes.

 

A fellowship night was conducted the night before the event at MNM Hotel in celebration of the wedding anniversary of Governor Manuel Mamba and Atty. Mabel Villarica-Mamba which was attended by guests from Taiwan, Department Heads, and Consultants.
