Tadeo Baquiran’s Bannag Art Exhibition in celebration of National Arts Month 2023

The program started with a ribbon cutting ceremony led by the guests of honor, Mr. Tadeo Baquiran, Ms. Mielma Marie Baquiran, Ms. Ninotchka Karenin Baquiran, Atty. Mabel Villarica – Mamba, First Lady of Cagayan, and Patron of the Arts, Ms. Fanibeth Domingo, Former Regional Director of the Department of Tourism – Region II, En.P Jenifer-Junio Baquiran, Head of the Cagayan Tourism Office, and Mr. Niño Kevin Baclig, Cagayan Museum Director-Curator I.

 

The art exhibition was also attended by Cagayano Artists Group, fellow art enthusiasts, and department heads and employees of the Provincial Government of Cagayan. Showcased in this exhibit are the 7 prints of Mr. Tadeo Baquiran, 8 “Blooms” series of Ms. Mielmia Marie Baquiran, and 3 oil painting seascapes of Ms. Ninotchka Karenin Baquiran. Mr. Niño Kevin Baclig welcomed those who supported the art exhibit in his welcome remarks. He also thanked every local artist who has been making an impact in the field of arts. Mr. Lucio Taguiam Jr., President of Cagayano Artists Group, acknowledged the artists who take pride in making extraordinary artwork for the betterment of the province. Atty. Mabel Villarica-Mamba highlighted the artistic roots of the Baquiran Family that represents the past, present, and future of the Cagayano in her message. She also expressed her appreciation to the Cagayano Artists Group who serves as an inspiration to the community. En.P Jenifer-Junio Baquiran praised each one who continues the legacy of the Cagayan Museum and Historical Research Center, and the unwavering support of our Honorable Governor Manuel Mamba.
