Regional Tourism Stakeholders Assembly and Forum and “Bisita, Be My Guest” Activation

The Department of Tourism – Region II (DOT-R2) led by Regional Director Troy Alexander Miano hosted the Regional Tourism Stakeholders Assembly and Forum and “Bisita, Be My Guest” Activation yesterday, September 12, 2023 at Go Hotels Plus, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.
The Cagayan Tourism Office headed by En.P. Jenifer Junio-Baquiran joined the said event that was graced by USEC Verna Esmeralda Buensuceso of Tourism Planning and Development and ASEC Maria Rica Bueno of Tourism Regulation Coordination and Resource Generation.
USEC Verna spoke of the tourism potentials of Cagayan Valley whilst ASEC Rica underscored the importance of human resource development.
The “Bisita, Be My Guest” campaign was also launched yesterday. This campaign encourages OFWs and overseas Filipinos to be ambassadors of our beloved country, the Philippines. The BBMG is anchored on promoting Philippine tourism to non-Filipino friends and loved ones to visit the country. Travel incentives and shopping vouchers await successful sponsors and invitees.
