The newly elected officials of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) group in Cagayan convened their first meeting on June 16, 2025, at Gasat Hall, Tuguegarao City, to strategize for their organization. Led by Mr. Cesar Crisostomo of C.E.C. Food Ventures, the meeting is attended by MSME members,  representatives from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Cagayan, and staff from the Cagayan Tourism Office (CTO).

The primary focus was on registering the group as a cooperative to enhance member benefits. Discussions also covered payment systems, inventory, quality control, packaging, and online product availability. The group, named “Cagayan OTOpreneurs,” aims to establish a Seal of Excellence for their products, creating a distinct Cagayan brand.

The Cagayan Tourism Office and the Department of Trade and Industry continue to support MSMEs with financial assistance, branding, marketing, and providing sales spaces to fortify the MSME sector in the province.
