Cagayan Farm School and Agri-Tourism Launching. 👩🌾🧺

The Provincial Government of Cagayan through the Cagayan Tourism Office finally launched Region 2’s first-ever Department of Tourism or DOT-accredited Provincial LGU-owned farm site, the Provincial Farm School and Agri-Tourism Center in Anquiray, Amulung. The opening was led by the Hon. Gov. Manuel N. Mamba together with Provincial Administrator, Atty. Charo Mamba-Villaflor; Provincial Agriculturist, Dr. Pearlita P. Mabasa; and Officer-in-Charge for Cagayan Tourism Office, En.P. Jenifer Junio-Baquiran. Miss Leila Blancaflor, Supervising Tourism Operations Officer of DOT – Region 2 awarded the certificate on behalf of Regional Director Troy Alexander Miano.
This will further place the facility in an exceptionally stellar status in as much as it has also been granted recognition and accreditation by the Agricultural Technical Institute and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
The event was attended by esteemed guests from the academe, national agencies, Municipal Agriculturists and Tourism Officers, farmers from Amulung and Alcala, PNP ITOPCOP trained personnel and PNP Amulung, local Barangay officials of Amulung, tour guides, Agkaykaysa members, media and other local tourism stakeholders. The different department heads and consultants of the PGC were also present at the said event.
