Patupat Festival is a celebration of the towns people of the Municipality of Ballesteros, Cagayan. It is a celebration of thanks giving for the good harvest from local farmers in the Municipality being an agricultural town and rice farming as the main livelihood of the people.

Patupat is a delicacy famously known in the Municipality, made from glutinous rise and coconut milk and sugar wrapped in Banana leaf and tied with banana fiber thread.

The Patupat is known for its sweet taste and bite sized merienda matched with coffee and usually being bought for pasalubong and a good mix served in any kinds of celebration.

Some activities during the festival are Street Dance competition, Float Parade Competition, Patupat Eating and making competitions matched with other Cultural Presentations.
