The Provincial Government of Cagayan, headed by Governor Manuel Mamba, together with the Provincial Tourism Officer, En.P Jenifer Junio-Baquiran, Provincial Museum Curator, Mr. Kevin Baclig, and other consultants, attended the opening program of the 6th Peanut Festival.

In celebration also of their 175th Founding Anniversary is the Inauguration of Enrile Cultural Center and the Unveiling of Agustin L. Palattao Memorial Building.
