#CagayanTouREADsm | Cagayan Farm School: Presidential Recognition for Outstanding Development Partners on Enhancing Management and Labor Capacities

The Cagayan Farm School of the Provincial Government of Cagayan located in Anquiray, Amulung was awarded the “Presidential Recognition for Outstanding Development Partners on Enhancing Management and Labor Capacities” by the honorable President Ferdinand “BongBong” Marcos Jr., in conjunction with the celebration of the Micro Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Development Week organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) at the Malacañang Palace, Manila this July 10, 2024.

Governor Manuel Mamba, En.P Jennifer Junio-Baquiran, Provincial Tourism Officer and, Engr. Pearlita Mabasa, Provincial Agriculturist attended the event and received the award presented by the President.

The Provincial Government of Cagayan was recognized for the successful establishment and operation of the Cagayan Farm School and Agri-Tourism Center which was established by Gov. Mamba to give farmers a place to practice various modern farming technologies and methods. This farm school is also the first Department of Tourism-Accredited Provincial LGU-owned farm site in the entire Region.
