A group of Filipino archeologists from the University of the Philippines-Diliman Campus headed by Dr. Armand Mijares made their courtesy call to Honorable Governor Manuel Mamba and discussed their continued research about the province.

The group was assisted by the Cagayan Tourism head, EnP. Jenifer Junio-Baquiran, Mr. Kevin Baclig, the Cagayan Museum and Historical Research Center Curator, and Mr. Rogie Sending, head of the Cagayan Provincial Information Office.
