Cagayan Tourism Office Spearheaded the Gattaran Site Assessment

The Cagayan Tourism Office headed by En.P Jenifer Junio-Baquiran conducted a validation and assessment of Gattaran’s potential tourism sites as per requested by the Local Government Unit of Gattaran last January 20, 2023.

EnP. Jenifer Junio-Baquiran, Head of Cagayan Tourism Office, spearheaded the activity with Mr. Joshua Flores and Ms. Shayne Naree Beltran of CTO under Planning and Development Division.
The office was assisted by Ms. Michelle dela Cruz, Municipal Tourism Officer, Engr. Gilbert Guillermo, Municipal Engineering Office, and Mr. Melvin Refugia, Municipal Tourism Staff.
The potential attractions visited were the Burayok Falls in Barangay Basao, Freedom Hall in Barangay Centro Norte, and Gattaran Food and Leisure Hub in Centro Sur, Gattaran.
The assessment aimed to identify key stakeholders, to analyze the status and ensure the sustainability of the destinations.
Recommendations and input were given by the CTO for the development of the said sites.
