The 2025 Cagayan Provincial Athletic Association (CPAA) meet officially commenced on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the Allacapan Sports Complex. With the theme “One Province, One Spirit: Celebrating Unity and Sportsmanship,” the event runs until January 26, 2025. The Opening Ceremony, led by the Cagayan Schools Division Office (CSDO) Cagayan, marked the beginning of a vibrant showcase of athletic skills, and talents of Cagayanos as they manifest their unity through sports.

Cagayan Governor Manuel Mamba inspired the athletes, as well as challenged them to be the best version of themselves to bring back the crown of the Cagayan Valley Regional Athletic Association (CAVRAA) to the province.

The event highlights Cagayan’s commitment to sports tourism, showcasing the province as a vibrant hub for athletic events and tourism, and underscores its commitment to fostering a culture of health, fitness, and sportsmanship among its residents and visitors.
